January 1, 2021. We were entering the New Year, and we thought many of the problems from the previous one would finally come to a halt. Little did we know, this wasn't the case. The world of work evolved in front of us - from work from home scenarios to record unemployment rates and job quits, we were presented with many challenges.

There are several ways to determine a budget for incentive and recognition programs. As employers realize that one program does not fit all, many are moving toward the trend of budgeting per program. Different “sub-audiences” in the employee population need to be acknowledged and rewarded for different results with different rule structures.

We have entered the season of giving thanks. For many, if not all, this time of year is where people begin to feel overwhelmed, but also when we all tend to look back on the year. Whether it's due to work or personal obligations, there's no doubt a lot is going on. It doesn't help that the past two years have felt like we are in a never-ending loop. So, taking the time to reflect and think about the things you're thankful for will only put you in a good mood and in good spirits.
