It looks like COVID-19, aka the novel coronavirus, will be with us for the next few months. Many companies have rolled out mandatory work from home policies in response to the World Health Organization announcement of the pandemic. This has created a new way of working for many employees that are normally accustomed to corporate office life.

In Part One of our series on developing a people-centric culture of recognition, we talked about what it takes to create a culture that values recognition, incorporates it from top to bottom and includes all employees.

It’s hard to not hear the word coronavirus or pandemic in the news over the past month. As cases of the virus continue to multiply across the world, now is the time for employers in the U.S. and around the world to create, revise or review an infectious disease plan, and most importantly share it with employees before it hits close to home.

At the end of this week (Friday, March 6^th), the workforce will celebrate one of our favorite official “unofficial” holidays, Employee Appreciation Day!
